Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant or Homecare Aid to join our teams as a Direct Support Professional. You will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals with developmental delays. Duties:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental delays
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
• Engage individuals in social and recreational activities
• Provide emotional support to clients
• Monitor and document individual progress towards habilitative and behavior support goals
• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience in childcare, care for individuals with developmental delays, nursing, or caregiving is preferred.
• Ability to pass background check
• HCA, CNA, nurse delegation, beneficial but not required as training can be completed after hire.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
• Knowledge of resident rights and social work principles
• Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if required)
• 18 and older
