About the Role
The Company is seeking a visionary and innovative Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) or VP Growth Marketing with a strong background in direct-to-customer digital media marketing, customer acquisition, and online sales funnels. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 8-10+ professionals and must have a proven track record in the eLearning, online training, and membership community space. This role demands a hands-on leader with high leadership knowledge, who can inspire and manage change for exponential growth. Experience in scaling a company, particularly in the range of $30MM to $100MM, and a successful long-term tenure in a similar environment are mandatory. The ideal candidate will have a solid education, be self-confident, resilient, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in a remote team setting. Applicants for the CMO or VP Growth Marketing position at the company should have a background that includes direct-to-customer, online courses, training, or membership community brands, and a history of successful online product launch strategies and D2C demand generation campaigns. The role requires expertise in high-converting webinars and a proven ability to generate significant revenues, targeting individual B2C consumers with Facebook and other paid social media. The candidate should also be adept at managing projects, overseeing various stakeholders, and have experience in branding, corporate affairs, M&A, and fundraising. A strong focus on data and analytics for decision-making, budget management, and ROI is essential.
