Licensed Mental Health Counselor needed in a SCHOOL setting in Westchester, NY to work with individuals with autism.

Mon - Fri 8a-4p

Duration: Temp to Permanent role

Hourly Pay Range: $35 - $45/hr

sJob Description includes

• :Conducts comprehensive assessments and reassessments of a student's functional, behavioral, emotional needs
• .Develops, implements and supports data collection systems for students across academic, community and campus life areas as relevant and necessary
• .Data and progress analysis of students regarding their ongoing functional, behavioral and emotional needs
• .Collaborates, develops and implements, including training of personnel, in behavior support plans (BIP, ISP, others) to support implementation and to improve behavioral outcomes for our students
• .Crisis managemen
• tCollaborates with clinicians, and members of the organization's Education and Campus Life (and other area) teams to ensure that each student's progress is holistic, integrated, and takes into account each student's ITEP goals, progress and developmental need
• sHandles group counseling sessions for designed cohorts as needed and require
• dProvides counseling to individuals and groups using various evidence-based therapeutic modalitie

sRequirements include

• :A NYS License (LMHC, LMSW
• )Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work (required
• )2+ years' experience in conducting Mental Health/Behavioral Assessment
• sExperience working with children with developmental disabilities or on the Autistic Spectrum strongly preferre
• dExperience in a classroom setting is a PLU
