Psych NP Practice Healthcare Provider Job Description :
POSITION SUMMARY: This position consists of an in-person and online treatment (telehealth) to support clients and patients.
Providers must be team-oriented and able to accept a part-time (2 days a week). As a successful candidate, you will need to be able to work with individuals across the lifespan (children through adulthood) to evaluate and treat mental health-related illnesses. Psychotherapy or talk therapy may be required to help patients with adjustments to life difficulties.
Who We Need:
We are looking for part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to join our clinical team.
Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays, but can be flexible
Times: 8-5p
Able to do in-person visits once a month or as needed
Be able to establish rapport with individuals of diverse backgrounds
Someone looking to grow with the practice
New grads encouraged
Potential for full-time available
Bilingual preferred but not required
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
● Establish and Maintain Interpersonal Relationships -- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
● Communicate with Supervisors and Colleagues -- Providing information to supervisors, administrative staff, and peers by telephone, written format, e-mail, and in person.
● Consult – Consult with the supervisor, other clinicians, and support staff on behalf of the client and the client's needs.
● Document/Record Information -- Enter, transcribe, store, and maintain information in written or electronic formats. Complete individualized treatment plans, mental status/initial assessments, progress notes, and disability paperwork.
● Observe and Identify Objects, Actions, and Events -- Observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources. Identify information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
● Make Decisions and Solve Problems -- Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Troubleshoot and manage crises when clients are in need.
● Organize, Plan, and Prioritize Work -- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish the completion of your work.
● Think Creatively – Assist patients by developing, designing, or creating new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions that assist in their development and mental health.
● Interact with Computers -- Use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to enter client data, or process information as it relates to client records and client
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Active listening, social perceptiveness, critical thinking, service-oriented, active learning/learning strategies, excellent communication (verbal and written), time management, complex problem solving, and judgment/decision making.
Other requirements include:
MSN degree (minimum)
1 year of experience (new grads considered)
Board Certified PMHNP-BC
Maintain current liability insurance of at least $1,000,000/$3,000,000 (required)
Maintain a license in Arizona and DEA-certified
BLS certification current
Submitting a clean background check
Accepts referrals from local doctors
Credentialed on insurance panels (a plus, not required)
Availability for flexible days and hours
Familiarity with EHR systems CHARM EHR, preferred but not required
Help with marketing for practice (ie attending social/networking events)
