Job Description Overview Seeking an experienced
Global FF&E Supply Chain Manager to join a growing and dynamic team. Metro NY preferred, but remote will be considered. As the Global FF&E Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination, efficiency, and excellence in the delivery of FF&E solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in supply chain management, global logistics, and a deep understanding of the hospitality and residential B2B industry.
Job Responsibilities - Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global supply chain strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain initiatives with overall business goals.
- Supplier Management:
- Identify and evaluate global FF&E suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Logistics and Distribution:
- Oversee international logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of FF&E products.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize distribution networks and minimize lead times.
- Inventory Management:
- Implement efficient inventory control measures to minimize carrying costs while meeting customer demands.
- Develop and execute inventory replenishment strategies to ensure product availability.
- Quality Assurance:
- Establish and maintain rigorous quality control processes to uphold product standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers to implement continuous improvement initiatives for product quality.
- Cost Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction within the supply chain without compromising quality or service.
- Implement cost-effective measures and monitor key performance indicators.
Qualifications SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Min 7+ years of experience in FF&E supply chain management with a focus on the hospitality and residential B2B industry.
- Strong working knowledge of international, federal, state and local laws and regulations affecting the procurement of FF&E products
- Proven track record of successfully managing global supply chain operations.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems.
