We have an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Physician and Provider and Relations and Outreach (PPRO) Liaison, Surgical Services Specialist to join our Physician and Provider Relations and Outreach team.
POSITION SUMMARY This position reports to the Market Director, Physician and Provider Relations and Outreach. As part of the Ardent Shared Services Team, the Senior PPRO Liaison is responsible for researching and understanding service line volumes, utilization, market share, competitor data and physician referral patterns for assigned lines of business. Must have knowledge of key business drivers, related medical trends, and service line performance metrics. Ability to leverage internal and external data to create strategic business development plans for each service line to support the company strategic vision and goals. This position will work frequently with both internal and external providers, medical group and hospital leadership, and community hospital leaders. Collaborates with hospital departments regarding services and activities. Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) such as: outreach activities and hospital financial goals. Provides input to department directors and assists with the development and implementation of PPRO goals for the assigned facilities or specialty group. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Responsibilities - Serve as an extension of hospital leadership and operations, focusing on key internal and external customers to impact hospital market share.
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external customers, including physicians and providers to leverage voice and drive high engagement.
- Exhibits strong command of market environment by providing strategic direction and intel to inform market growth strategies and service line growth initiatives.
- Collaborates with hospital CEOs and Physician leaders to develop and implement service line goals and objectives.
- Identifies opportunities for business development leadership.
- Demonstrates high strategic focus and creates data driven growth plans that are regularly presented to facility leadership.
- Displays high business acumen skill set and is experienced in leveraging data to inform strategic growth plan development.
- Meets targets for assigned service lines.
- Ability to analyze data and track results.
- Maintains accurate account and contact information in CRM tool.
- Skilled in prospecting for new business to increase market share growth.
- Manages effective target list and demonstrates effective reach and frequency.
- Communicates key service line messages that are created and aligned to marketing growth strategies.
Qualifications Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree required.
- 5 years of demonstrated sales experience or relevant work experience
- 1 year of Provider Relations Liaison experience required or 3 years of hospital or healthcare experience
- Previous hospital and healthcare experience.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software preferred
Surgical Specialist Qualifications: - Experience spending time in the hospital operating room departments and building successful relationships with surgical services department leadership, including surgery schedulers-
- Demonstrated understanding of operating room operations, preferred
- Demonstrated success in building strategic relationships with physicians, especially surgeons
- Demonstrated healthcare sales success
- This role will focus on driving KPIs relative to the surgical services service line
- This role will focus on strategies to deliver high physician satisfaction relative to surgical services service line
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Ability to work independently.
